Campus Traffic Update: The Illinois Department of Transportation has begun work on S. Ashland Avenue that runs through the medical center campus. We suggest allowing an extra 10-15 minutes in case of traffic due to the changes, although all efforts are being made to minimize any inconvenience. Rush appreciates your understanding and cooperation during this time. Rush University Medical Center is an academic medical center that includes a 671-bed hospital serving adults and children, the 61-bed Johnston R. Bowman Health Center, and Rush University.
