Dr. Guelich’s focus is on sports medicine injuries and arthritic conditions; maximizing conservative care and when necessary utilizing the latest in minimally invasive surgical techniques in the shoulder, elbow, knee and ankle. Dr.
Guelich serves as both a private practice physician and Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery for the University of Illinois. As the Associate Director of the UIC Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship, Dr. Guelich trains the next generation of Orthopaedic Surgeons in the field of sports medicine.
In addition, he is one of only several surgeons in the Chicagoland area who is Board Certified in the field of Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, a subspecialty designation.
