KinderCare Learning Center in Chicago offers high-quality daycare, child care, and early childhood education in a safe, nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore, create and grow.   • Ms. Elizabeth Miner

    <p><!--block-->Elizabeth comes to us from the cornfields of Iowa. She started at University Children's Center, our sister center, as a Discovery Preschool teacher in August of 2008. In her time at the center, Elizabeth also held positions as Enrichment Coordinator, Program Specialist, Assistant Director, and Interim Director. In August of 2012 Elizabeth received the KinderCare Education Educator of the Year award, and has presented twice at the annual NAEYC conference on the topic of Community Partnerships. Elizabeth joined the Elston KinderCare team in June of 2015 and is very excited to embark on this next chapter in her life. Elizabeth enjoys working with young children because it gives her a unique perspective on life. She sometimes wishes she too could slump down to the floor in protest when someone takes the last waffle. Even in her position as center director, the very best parts of Elizabeth's day, are those spent in the classrooms interacting with the children she serves.</p>

  • Rachel Frields-Paskey

    <p><!--block-->Ms. Rachel started with Elston KinderCare in June of 2016, she originally started at our sister center University Children's Center as a twos teacher and was later promoted to program specialist, and later held the role as their assistant director.&nbsp; Rachel holds her Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology and Psychology from Indiana University as well as her Child Development Associates Degree.&nbsp; Rachel is extremely passionate about the early childhood field and is always working to learn new and improved ways to provide the best quality experience possible to all of the children we serve here at Elston KinderCare.&nbsp; In her free time, Rachel enjoys biking, street festing, exploring new places with her husband Eric, and chilling at home with her two cats Millie and Nugget.</p>

  • Ms. Shannon

    <p><!--block-->Ms. Shannon comes to North Elston KinderCare with more than five years of experience as an early childhood educator, and currently holds a Child Development Associate for working with infants and toddlers. Shannon has an extremely nurturing personality and brings a calming element to her classroom.</p>

  • Ms. Chantill

    <p><!--block-->Ms. Chantill joined the North Elston KinderCare team in the summer of 2016. She has over 20 years of experience working with young children and is working to obtain her Child Development Associate (CDA). Ms. Chantill has a passion for working with children. When she's not inspiring children, Ms. Chantill enjoys watching movies with her three daughters and reading.&nbsp;</p>

  • Ms. Chanel

    <p><!--block-->Ms. Chanel holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Chicago State University and has more than three years of experience as an early childhood educator.&nbsp; Before coming to North Elston, Chanel spent a year at KinderCare Westmont. Ms. Chanel loves incorporating cooking into the preschool curriculum and enjoys introducing the children to new things.&nbsp; Chanel is excited both to have time to work in the classroom and to have the opportunity to provide children with healthy, delicious meals.&nbsp; We are so excited to have Chanel on our team!</p>
