Ms. Elizabeth Miner

Elizabeth comes to us from the cornfields of Iowa. She started at University Children's Center, our sister center, as a Discovery Preschool teacher in August of 2008. In her time at the center, Elizabeth also held positions as Enrichment Coordinator, Program Specialist, Assistant Director, and Interim Director. In August of 2012 Elizabeth received the KinderCare Education Educator of the Year award, and has presented twice at the annual NAEYC conference on the topic of Community Partnerships. Elizabeth joined the Elston KinderCare team in June of 2015 and is very excited to embark on this next chapter in her life. Elizabeth enjoys working with young children because it gives her a unique perspective on life. She sometimes wishes she too could slump down to the floor in protest when someone takes the last waffle. Even in her position as center director, the very best parts of Elizabeth's day, are those spent in the classrooms interacting with the children she serves.
