Vivo has earned it’s legendary status as one of the oldest dining establishments on Randolph street. But our history goes far beyond bricks & mortar. Many of our guests and staff have been with us since the very beginning. We find that people join us because someone told them about our atmosphere; brick walls, white linen table cloths and the sexy hum of the dining room. That they have to sit at table 70 with that special someone. Or because we serve “the best Ossobuco in town’. But people keep coming back because there’s something special about this place. It’s that thing you can’t quite put your finger on. Cell phones get tucked away. Eye contact is made. People become unfettered. Delicious food & wine are enjoyed & life is good. At Vivo our philosophy is to create an experience that will leave each and every guest unable resist the temptation to come back for more. Our perspective on food can summed up with these three words: simplicity, quality, consistency. True Italian so wonderfully executed that two decades later we are still the icon of the Randolph Street Market District.
