Ajaz M. Khan, M.D. is a medical oncologist at City of Hope Chicago (formerly Cancer Treatment Centers of America [CTCA]). In his leadership role as Chief of Medical Oncology, Dr. Khan is responsible for guiding protocols, ensuring standard-of-care guidelines are consistently met and exceeded, and helping recruit high-quality physicians to City of Hope. In 2025, he was elected as the President of the Chicago Medical Staff. As an oncology doctor, Dr. Khan primarily focuses on treating patients with breast cancer, lung cancer, and gastrointestinal cancers. "My goal with my patients is to provide education, compassionate care and open lines of communication, " says Dr. Khan.
