    Dr. Kaori C. Ema, DDS, MAGD, is the owner and founder of Printers Row Dental Studio. Recognized as a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry—a distinction achieved by less than 2% of dentists—Dr. Ema stands at the forefront of dental excellence. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry with multiple awards for leadership and clinical excellence. Dr. Ema then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Scott Air Force Base and served for three years in the U.S. Air Force, providing comprehensive dental care for military service members and their families at Hanscom Air Force Base near Boston. Returning to Chicago, she taught at her alma mater before opening Printers Row Dental Studio in 2017. Dr. Ema is passionate about delivering patient-centered care and has completed over 2000 hours of continuing education. Her practice philosophy is centered on building lifelong relationships, ensuring every patient receives compassionate, informed, and customized care. She is active in volunteerism, having provided outreach care in Fiji, Guatemala, Honduras, and offers annual Veterans Day free dental care. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ema enjoys Pilates, exploring Chicago’s food and music scenes, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. Her mission is to help every patient look, feel, and be their best.
