Dr. Nicholas Panomitros

Dr. Nicholas Panomitros is a highly experienced and passionate dentist with over 37 years of clinical experience. Dr. Panomitros graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry in 1989 with a degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery, and has dedicated his career in private-practice ever since. He takes pride in helping his loyal patients achieve excellent oral health and confident smiles, as his primary goal is for them to feel and look good. Dr. Panomitros’ excellence in patient care and clinical expertise has been awarded with the Illinois Top Doctor Award, as he provides a modern and advanced patient- focused approach offering Invisalign, cosmetic, restorative, endodontic, periodontic, and implant dentistry to his patients. Speaking fluent Spanish, Greek, and Italian, has allowed him to serve Chicago’s diverse communities with ease.

Dr. Samuel D. Kang

Samuel D. Kang, DMD is a proud Chicago native who earned both his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed a three-year advanced prosthodontics residency at UIC, specializing in esthetics, full-mouth reconstruction, digital dentistry, and implant dentistry. Dr. Kang then pursued an additional year as an Implant Fellow with the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, sponsored by Dentsply Sirona. During this time, he taught prosthetic considerations in implant dentistry to students and oral surgery residents while honing his expertise in complex implant surgical procedures.

Dr. Paul J. Sung

Dr. Paul Sung is a Prosthodontist who combines clinical precision, scientific innovation, and artistry to deliver exceptional, personalized dental care. His goal is to help each patient restore not only function, but also confidence and quality of life. A North Carolina native, Dr. Sung earned his undergraduate degree in Zoology from NC State University and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. He completed his advanced specialty training in Prosthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), where he also earned a Master’s in Oral Sciences.

Dr. Michael Carrera

Dr. Michael Carrera is an endodontist — a dental specialist focused on saving teeth often requiring root canal therapy. He treats complex tooth pain, performs root canals, and handles the more involved cases that general dentists trust him to take care of on their patients’ behalf. Dr. Carrera earned his dental degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and then completed advanced specialty training in Endodontics at New York University before returning home to serve the Chicago community he grew up in. At Chicago Dental Experts, Dr. Carrera’s approach is straightforward: treat every patient with the same care and attention he would want for his own family. He understands that the words “root canal” are enough to make most people nervous — so he takes the time to explain exactly what’s happening, answer every question, and make sure patients feel comfortable from the moment they sit down.
