• Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)

• Mid-Face Lift (Cheek & Lower Eyelid Lift)

  As people age and their skin loses elasticity and tone, the cheeks and eyelids tend to sag. This can sometimes create the appearance of looking fatigued or worn out. A Mid-Face Lift is a plastic surgery procedure that restores a smooth, youthful look to the lower eyelids and cheeks. Mid-Face Lift surgery targets the area around the nose, eyes and corners of the mouth. These procedures are particularly effective for patients seeking cheek elevation when the neck and areas beneath the chin do not require lifting. While some surgeons perform Mid-Face Lift surgery with traditional lower face lift techniques, Dr. Wiener utilizes endoscopic face lift techniques to improve precision and recovery time.

• Brow Lift

  A Brow Lift (forehead lift) softens deep creases across the forehead, reduces frown lines between the eyebrows at the top of your nose and can elevate drooping eyebrows. It can also reduce the heavy look or appearance of droopy skin between the eyebrows and the upper eyelids.

• Facelift (Rhytidectomy)

  A Face Lift (Rhytidectomy) smoothes loose skin on your face and neck and decreases visible signs of aging such as deep cheek folds and jowls. Different variations of a facelift may reposition deeper tissues and underlying fat in order to restore a more youthful contour to your face. Incisions are placed within the hairline and in the natural contours in front of, and behind, the ears. Modified (limited incisions) can also be done to correct only the lower face and neck.

• Rhinoplasty (Nose Surgery)

  Rhinoplasty, or nasal reshaping, is one of the most common plastic surgery procedures performed by Dr. Wiener. Rhinoplasty can reshape, reduce or augment a person’s nose to achieve a better contour, facial harmony and boost self-confidence. It may be performed as a reconstructive procedure to correct a birth defect, or an injury such as a broken nose. With years of Rhinoplasty experience behind him, Dr. Wiener combines a wide variety of techniques with artistic vision to improve the form, and in many cases, the function, of each nose. Combining Rhinoplasty with a Septoplasty (reshaping the cartilage that separates the nasal airway) or other air way modifications can effectively treat certain breathing and sinus problems.

• Facial Liposuction

  For patients with generally good skin tone in the face and neck, but unwanted fatty deposits, ultrasonic liposuction remains a simple, fast way to improve the contour without a long recovery. Dr. Wiener specializes in using ultrasonic technology (VASER) to specifically target fat deposits in the lower face, jowls, and especially the neck. Through tiny incisions, fatty tissue is broken up, liquefied and removed with minimal trauma to the surrounding tissues. Discomfort is minimal and recovery is rapid with several days of mild swelling and light bruising. Results can be significant, with improved contour to the lower face and neck.

• Laser Resurfacing

  hese techniques improve fine wrinkles, uneven pigmentation, and general sun damage. They act by stripping away the superficial layers of the skin. New skin cells migrate to the treated areas and produce new, smooth, natural collagen. Chemical peels such as trichloroacetic acid (TCA) can be applied to the entire face and neck (avoiding the eyelids). Dermabrasion uses a spinning wheel with a rough (diamond encrusted) surface to abrade the skin; this is especially good for the pitting of acne scars and vertical lines around the lips. Lasers can also be used to resurface facial and neck skin. It is effective in treating wrinkles, age spots, acne scars, and uneven pigmentation. The laser also causes a mild tightening effect on the facial skin.

• Breast Augmentation

  Dr. Wiener remains a leader in the Chicago area in breast surgery and Breast Augmentation. Breast Augmentation is one of the most popular cosmetic procedures performed by Dr. Wiener and his surgical staff. For many women who never had the fullness they wanted or who have experienced the thinning, deflation and drooping of the breast that comes with aging, pregnancy and weight fluctuations, the placement of a breast implant can bring back the shape and firmness that the breasts once had, and even add a little more! Other issues such as breast asymmetry and congenital malformations of the breasts and chest can be corrected by the placement of breast implants. In many cases, Breast Augmentation is combined with a Breast Lift for the best possible results.

• Mastopexy (Breast Lift)

• Breast Reduction Surgery

  A Breast Reduction (Reduction Mammoplasty) removes excess breast tissue and reshapes large, sagging breasts. Excessively large and drooping breasts can sometimes cause back, neck, shoulder, and breast pain. They can also cause grooving from bra straps, rashes, and problems with posture. It can also be difficult to engage in normal physical activities with excessively large breasts, and can be a source of self-consciousness for the patient.

• Liposuction (Vaser)

  In Dr. Wiener’s practice, it is not liposuction, it is Liposelection (by Vaser). A relatively new and very different way to remove unwanted fat from almost any part the body, that is as gentle as it is effective. This revolutionary new procedure offers exceptional results and rapid healing, and is an alternative to the harsh techniques of traditional liposuction.

• Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck)

  An Abdominoplasty or Tummy Tuck helps flatten and re-contour the abdomen and waist by removing excess skin and fat, and by tightening the underlying muscles. The procedure is especially beneficial for women with loose skin, stretch marks, and muscle laxity as a result of pregnancy, as well as for patients with excess fat and loose, baggy skin which has simply lost its elasticity.

• Lipo-Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck with Lipo)

  Lipo-Abdominoplasty is an advanced type of tummy tuck that is combined with cutting edge liposuction techniques. This procedure trims, flattens and firms a bulging abdomen by removing excess skin and fat while also tightening loose abdominal muscles. A Lipo-Abdominoplasty may be appropriate if you have trouble flattening your abdomen following changes in your midsection after pregnancy or despite exercise and weight loss.

• Buttock Augmentation with Implants

  For patients who do not have a significant amount of excess fat, or who want a more significant and dramatic augmentation, a buttock implant may be the best solution. The implants are made of silicone, which has a soft and natural texture. The implants are solid and cannot leak, therefore, they are essentially permanent. They are placed using a 2 to 3 inch incision in the vertical crease between the buttocks. This hides the incision nicely. The implants are then placed beneath the buttock muscle in a procedure that takes approximately 2 hours.

• Brazilian Butt Lift (Fat Transfer)

  Dr. Wiener has become a leader in buttock enhancement. Whether your buttock has lost volume and deflated due to the effects of weight fluctuations, pregnancy, or the general aging process, or even if you simply never had a round, well-shaped buttock, a buttock enhancement may be a good option. Dr. Wiener typically uses two types of techniques to enhance buttock volume and improve buttock shape. The first is done using liposuction to harvest fat from other areas of the body, then inject that fat into the buttock to increase its overall volume and improve its shape. This is typically known as the Brazilian Butt Lift. Another option is the placement of a permanent solid silicone implant. This procedure is called Buttock Augmentation with Implants.

• Brachioplasty (Arm Lift)

  For patients with loose, hanging skin of the upper arms, a Brachioplasty (or arm lift) can be the best option to tighten and reshape the skin. Incisions are kept on the inner aspect of the upper arms and arranged from longer incisions to shorter, more limited incisions within the underarm area to reduce mild amounts of laxity. Brachioplasty is often combined with Liposuction to enhance the shape and overall results.

• Thigh Lift

  If you are unhappy about the appearance of your thighs, perhaps you should consider a Thigh Lift. Over time, gravity and weight fluctuations cause the skin to lose elasticity and muscle tone. Sometimes, this gives way to the appearance of loose, sagging skin around your knees and upper thighs. Dr. Wiener can remove and reposition this excess tissue to improve overall body contour and to smooth out imperfections in the skin. Using hidden incisions in the groin area to lift the upper/inner aspect of the thigh, excess skin and fat is then removed and the inner thigh is pulled up to tighten the area. This is called a Medial Thigh Lift. A Lateral Thigh Lift is done through incisions concealed along the hip (within the bikini line) to lift the outer thigh and re-contour the sides of the thigh and hips. Because the thighs are also typically an area of excess fat accumulation, liposuction is often added to enhance the overall results.

• Body Lift

  If you are interested in a more profound, full body enhancement, the Body Lift might be the solution for you. This more extensive procedure removes and tightens skin along the abdomen, hips, thighs, and lower back — and even lifts the lateral thigh and buttock area in the process. A Body Lift, or Belt Lipectomy, utilizes a continuous incision around the entire pant or belt line. Through this incision, a Tummy Tuck is done, as well as removal of excess skin and fat around the entire lower waistline, including the lower back/buttock area. The abdomen, thighs, and buttocks are re-contoured all together.

• Bra-line Back Lift

  Ideal candidates for the Bra-Line Back Lift are those with sagging skin caused by aging, sun exposure or massive weight loss such as that which occurs after bariatric surgery. While it is not for women only, men do not tend to develop sagging skin or back fat rolls from aging and sun exposure at the same rate as women do. This surgery is done using general anesthesia and takes from 1 to 2 hours. An incision is made across the back, and excess folds and bulges of skin are removed. Most women find that the scar is easily hidden behind their bra or bathing suit and Dr. Wiener’s patients report significant improvements in their appearance – and their overall confidence.

• Pectoral Implants (Chest)

  Male patients who would like a fuller, more sculpted look in the chest/pectoral area are good candidates for Pectoral Augmentation with Implants. Through the use of FDA approved implants made of a silicon elastomer, men now have an opportunity to improve their body shape where exercise and an active lifestyle may have fallen short. In addition, patients who have had injuries or congenital deformities will also benefit from this procedure.

• Calf Implants

  Calf Implants are a good option for both men and women who have naturally small calves but would like a fuller, more sculpted look in this area. FDA approved, these silicone gel implants can also benefit patients who have congenital deformities or have experienced calf injuries. The implants are placed through a small incision behind the knee and beneath the fascia, which is a thick covering over the muscle. In many cases, two implants are placed in each leg to mimic the natural shape of the calf muscle. A small plastic drain may be used and will be in place for several days. The legs are then placed in a mildly compressive wrap for several days after surgery. Patients usually return to work in 7-10 days. More strenuous activities should be avoided for 4-6 weeks.

• Mommy Make-Over

  For women who wish to re-contour all of the areas affected by pregnancy, Dr. Wiener routinely performs a “Mommy Make-Over.” Here, an Abdominoplasty (and possible Liposuction) is combined with a Breast Enlargement or Breast Lift to improve what pregnancy has taken away. This has become one of Dr. Wiener’s most popular procedures. For patients with excess abdominal skin, limited to the lower abdomen and below the navae, a Mini-Tummy Tuck may be the best procedure. Here, a shorter incision is used, and liposuction is often added to achieve the best possible results. Post-op discomfort is less and recovery time is shorter than with a full tummy tuck.

• BOTOX®

  Botox Cosmetic is an effective injectable used to smooth lines and wrinkles in the upper portion of the face caused by contraction of these muscles during frowning or squinting. Horizontal forehead lines, vertical lines between the eyebrows, and crows’ feet around the eyes can all be significantly reduced by injecting small amounts of this substance into the underlying muscles. Botox has also been proven to be an effective treatment for severe primary axillary hyperhidrosis, or severe underarm sweating. For patients who have exhausted their efforts using deodorants and anti-perspirants, Botox may be the perfect choice. In a clinical study, patients reported drier underarms for up to 201 days, or 6.7 months after using Botox.

• JUVÉDERM®

  Juvederm Injectable Gel is a soft gel implant that includes hyaluronic acid, a natural complex sugar that bolsters skin elasticity, providing a smooth and supple appearance. It is an easy, comfortable treatment that lifts and adds volume to the wrinkles and folds of your skin. Juvederm is ideal for nasolabial folds, as well as the area around your lips and eyes, and can last up to 6 months.

• Voluma®

  The newest Juvederm® product, Voluma® has been FDA-approved for use in restoring volume to the cheek area. Voluma has been shown to last up to 2 years. Voluma is made of hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring sugar in the body. In large part, the longevity of HA fillers has been determined by the amount of “cross-linking” of the molecules, meaning essentially how densely the molecules are packed together. Voluma® is highly cross-linked, to the point where the density of the filler allows it to last up to 2 years. This added density provides for a smooth injection, and beautiful, youthful results!

• Restylane®

  Restylane is a popular dermal filler used to restore volume and fullness to moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. Restylane is a non-animal based hyaluronic acid that exists naturally in the human body, eliminating the possibility of an allergic reaction. The treatment is simple and convenient, and results are almost instantaneous. Arnica, a natural anti-inflammatory, is applied to the treatment area for patients’ comfort. Dr. Wiener also recommends ibuprofen post-treatment as patients may experience 1 to 2 days of mild swelling and possibly some bruising. Restylane results are long-lasting, giving skin a more youthful appearance for 6 months or longer.

• RADIESSE®

  This calcium-based injectable gel not only treats common facial folds, but also works with your body to stimulate new collagen production. Radiesse successfully restores volume to nasolabial folds, smile lines and wrinkles around the nose and mouth and in some cases, can last up to a year. Dr. Wiener recommends at least one treatment to rejuvenate the skin and to ‘fill in’ problem areas, but also notes that additional treatments over time will help patients maintain their results Safe and effective for all skin types, Radiesse is FDA approved and provides a natural, younger appearance in minutes.

• Belotero Balance®

  Belotero Balance is FDA approved to add volume to moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. A hyaluronic acid-based filler, Belotero has been proven to increase volume in superficial and very fine lines, making it a popular treatment for those seeking more dramatic results. Considered to be one of the longest lasting fillers, Belotero can be administered close to the surface of the skin, creating a more youthful and toned appearance.

• Lunchtime Laser Peel

  This light laser peel removes a thin layer of damaged skin to improve texture and provide a more youthful appearance. Removing the top layer of skin eliminates some of the damaged cells that can give skin a tired, aged look. The result is healthier-looking skin, often with reduced wrinkles and improved color evenness. Our Lunchtime Laser Peel uses Sciton® technology, and can be compared to a microdermabrasion but at a stronger depth. The procedure can be custom-tailored to your specific skin conditions and desired outcome. The laser beam is scanned over a treatment area to remove a very thin layer of the skin. Plus it activates messenger cells to trigger the body’s natural healing process. As the skin heals, fresh cells grow and resurface the treated area. The result is healthier-looking skin, often with reduced wrinkles and improved color evenness. Patients often say that it looks like their skin went from looking tired to vibrant.

• Micro Laser Peel

  For patients who wish to minimize fine wrinkling and the blotchy pigment that occurs with aging and sun damage, Dr. Wiener offers the Micro Laser Peel. This light laser resurfacing procedure, done under local anesthesia, can strip away the years and the results can be dramatic. Dr. Wiener uses the best resurfacing laser on the market (Contour Profile by Sciton) to remove a portion of the outer layer of the skin. An anesthetic cream is applied to the face for approximately twenty minutes, and then the procedure is done quickly and comfortably while cool air is blown on the face to maximize comfort. The skin is pink with mild inflammation and some peeling for two to three days post procedure, much like a sunburn. A special cleanser and moisturizer are used post procedure. Within four to five days, make-up can be applied and healing is complete One Micro Laser Peel can make a significant difference, but several micro peels done in a series approximately 6 weeks apart can have even more dramatic results. Safe and effective for all skin types, this treatment is recommended in combination with a skin care plan using Retin-A and a topical vitamin C. The skin becomes smooth, even-toned, and less wrinkled. This is one of Dr. Wiener’s most popular resurfacing procedures because it is quick, easy and patients experience minimal down time, with maximum results!

• Profractional (Skin Rejuvenation and Acne Scarring)

  Profractional is a laser procedure that helps patients achieve younger looking skin with virtually no down time. Using a laser micro-beam to treat pin-point areas of your skin, Profractional reaches depths appropriate for correcting wrinkles, fine lines, acne scars, age spots and sun damaged skin. These treated areas stimulate new collagen and increase the skin’s vitality, while enhancing tone and texture. Because the laser uses a micro-beam there is minimal inflammation at the skin’s surface while providing maximum benefit below the skin surface, the procedure is comfortable and healing time is short.

• Micro-Fractional

  Micro-Fractional combines two laser treatments: Micropeels and ProFractional. With Micropeels, the entire surface area of the skin is treated. A laser beam is scanned across the treatment area and precisely removes a layer of skin. The body will naturally replace the old, damaged skin that was removed, with a fresh, healthy layer. Treatments can range from shallow (which might be appropriate for eliminating fine lines, sun spots and tired-looking skin) to deep (which is often used to improve skin tone/texture and eliminate deep wrinkles).

• Deep Laser Resurfacing

  As we age, the effects of sun damage and environmental pollutants take their toll on our skin, creating wrinkles and pigment irregularities, especially on our faces. Deep Laser Resurfacing, performed by Dr. Wiener, can be very successful at reducing or eliminating these conditions, and in fact, is the best way to address the problematic lines that occur around the mouth and eyes. Though there are several different types of lasers used to perform peels, the Contour TRL™ is widely regarded as the safest, most effective laser available. Contour TRL™ safely removes a layer of skin to a depth determined by Dr. Wiener and will depend on the skin condition, your desired outcome and expectation for downtime.

• BBL Photo Facial

  The BBL Photo Facial gently and effectively delivers broad-band light energy to treat age spots, rosacea, redness and facial veins. This innovative technology uses heat to stimulate the production of new collagen with pulsed light, and can significantly improve the tone and texture of your skin. • Broad Band Light (BBL)

  Broad Band Light, using the ProFractional laser, can be the most effective treatment for rosacea and skin redness.   SkinTyte is a BBL treatment that actually tightens the skin by heating deeper layers of dermal collagen. • Microdermabrasion

  Microdermabrasion, also referred to as mechanical exfoliation or micro resurfacing, is a method for facial rejuvenation that uses a mechanical medium for exfoliation along with adjustable suction to sweep away the outermost layer of dead skin cells from the epidermis.
